Overview

This project was a message series exploring the ideas behind some of the most unexpected sayings in the Bible.

Bold typography in stark monochrome colours were intentionally used to let the sayings be the centre of focus. I chose to place them against harsher and grungier environments and employed the use of torn posters with a touch of spray paint/graffiti effect to bring a sense of ‘abrasiveness’—as conveyed by these controversial quotes.

I really enjoyed conceptualising and designing the creatives for this project as it was an opportunity to marry clean yet bold aesthetics with edgier elements for the full effect.
